Andy Farrell looks set to leave Sam Prendergast out of the squad entirely when he names his Ireland team to face England tomorrow morning.

According to Gerry Thornley in The Irish Times, Jack Crowley is instead expected to get the nod at 10, with Ciaran Frawley preferred on the bench as cover, due to his versatility with Ireland going with a 6-2 split.

Elsewhere, Rob Baloucoune and James Lowe are expected to remain on the wings, with Jamison Gibson-Park restored to the starting line-up.

Tadhg Furlong looks set to make his first start of the championship after making his return from injury off the bench last week.
