Garmin has begun offering its next public beta update for the Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro (curr. $609 on Amazon). For reference, the update is also available across the Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and the Marq Gen 2. However, Garmin continues to omit the Marq Aviator Gen 2 and Tactix 7 from its Beta Program.

This time, the company has moved the Fenix 7 and co onto Beta Version 26.03. Beta Version 26.03 is only the second v26.xx update so far that Garmin has offered to public beta testers. Nonetheless, the changelog between Beta Versions v26.02 and v26.03 is a rather focused one.

On the one hand, Garmin claims to have updated the Upload RAM option so that it only appears when a watch is actively connected to Garmin Connect. Theoretically, this option should only have displayed under these circumstances anyway. On the other hand, the company adds that it has resolved an issue where the Daily Suggested Workout would occasionally show invalid data for the target type.

The new update is available as an over-the-air (OTA) download. Please note that Garmin has only offered Beta Version 26.03 to around 20% of beta testers at the time of publication. One can skip Garmin’s phased rollout by manually checking for updates, though. More details can be found on Garmin’s forum post.
