On Saturday, 21 February, for Dance Day, Dublin City Council will host a day-long festival at Richmond Barracks for those curious about learning to dance. Curated by Artists in Residence Philippa Donnellan and Mia DiChiaro, Dance Day will offer free taster workshops of different styles of dance, dance film screenings and more. No previous dance experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome. Attendance must be booked in advance.

Blanchardstown Video Game Fair

St Peregrine’s GAA Club in Dublin 15 is set to host the ultimate gaming experience at the Blanchardstown Video Game Fair on Saturday, 21 February, from 11am to 4pm. Presented by Replay Games & Rewind Retro Gaming, the fair is a must-attend event for gamers, collectors, and anyone who loves the world of gaming — from the 8-bit era right up to the latest consoles. Craft Your Own Greeting Cards

WeSpark is hosting a cosy afternoon of crafting from 3pm – 5pm on Sunday, 22 February at Brindle Coffee & Wine in Portobello, Dublin 8. Create your own handmade cards using watercolour, thread and collage via a beginner-friendly session in a welcoming space. Alongside crafting, it’s also a chance to meet others, chat and share a creative moment. All materials are provided, just come as you are. To support the venue, participants are asked to buy a drink or snack, with a minimum spend of €5.

Sightlines: Lunar New Year
