A man died in a fatal incident near Tipperary town on Thursday evening this week.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the fatal incident, which occurred on the L8109 road at Ardloman, Co Tipperary, on Thursday, February 19.
The incident occurred at about 2.35pm and a male, aged in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. There have been no other injuries reported, said a garda spokesperson.
“The scene has been technically examined. The Health and Safety Authority and the coroner have been notified.”
A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) said they are aware of the fatal incident and have launched an investigation. “As such, no further information is available at this time,” added the spokesperson.
