The HSE has advised all schools, childcare and crèches in Donegal that Norovirus (vomiting bug) has been reported at ‘increased levels’ in the community.
The letter was issued yesterday evening by Dr. Hisham Elbashir, Senior Medical Officer, Public Health West & North West, requesting that it be shared with parents, guardians, and staff.
The letter includes general advice on recognising symptoms, staying at home when unwell, measures to reduce the spread of infection, and guidance on when to seek medical advice.
