Gurteen, Shrule, Co. Mayo and formerly of Windfort, Headford, Co. Galway – peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the University Hospital, Galway surrounded by her loving family on the 20th of February 2026.
Predeceased by her beloved parents James and Mary McDonagh.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Francis, children Rachel and Gary, sister Nonie and brother Pa, nieces and nephew Karina, Carol, Debbie and Brian, all of her extended family and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken cousins, relatives, large circle of loyal and wonderful friends and kind neighbours.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff in Universal Hospital, Galway for all of their care and kindness to Marian.
May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Marian will lie in repose at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule (H91RF1C) on Saturday, 21st of February from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Removal afterwards to her home in Gurteen.
Funeral will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule on Sunday, 22nd of February for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery.
The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on http://shruleglencorrib.com/webcam/ and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 F.M.
