Canadian developer Denis Morozov and writer Milha Vek have announced a partnership between their psychological horror game Good Children Say Grace and Scarlet Moon, the game music label and artist agency founded by Jayson Napolitano. Scarlet Moon’s roster includes talent who have worked with Nintendo, Bandai Namco, Sony Pictures, Konami, Capcom, and Square Enix.


Through this partnership, vocalist Nami Nakagawa and composer Norihiko Hibino are joining the project’s audio team.



Nami Nakagawa is a vocalist, composer, and lyricist known for her chorus work on NieR and NieR: Automata, and her collaboration with Bandai Namco composer Go Shiina on Tekken, Tales of Zestiria, God Eater, and Harvestella. In 2019, she performed as lead vocalist on “Kamado Tanjiro no Uta” for Demon Slayer, the insert song from Episode 19 that became a cultural phenomenon. She later performed “Kamado Nezuko no Uta” in the Swordsmith Village Arc. Nakagawa will serve as singer for Good Children Say Grace.



 


Norihiko Hibino is a jazz saxophonist turned game composer, trained at Berklee College of Music where he received the Distinguished Alumni Award. He served as lead composer on Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, writing the iconic theme song “Snake Eater” which won a GANG Award for Best Original Vocal Song. Through his studio GEM Impact, he continued on Metal Gear Solid 4 and Peace Walker, and composed for Bayonetta, Ace Combat, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Zone of the Enders. He has served as Audio Director for Blizzard, EA, and THQ. Hibino is serving as Sound Director and Casting Director for Good Children Say Grace, and is currently leading the casting of a Japanese voice actress for the game’s main narrator role.



About Good Children Say Grace


Good Children Say Grace is a first-person psychological horror adventure set on a remote Eastern European island in the 1980s. The game combines Eastern European family horror and dark romance with manga-inspired storytelling. Players’ choices shape three years of starvation, possession, and survival through dialogue decisions and exploration. The game features branching narratives with multiple routes and endings.


The announcement trailer has received over 1,500,000 views, 16,700 likes, and 2,000 reposts across platforms. Inio Asano, creator of Goodnight Punpun and the game’s primary visual inspiration, reposted the trailer. The game has been covered by 12 outlets across 6 countries, including AUTOMATON, Denfaminicogamer, Game*Spark, Dengeki Online, Yahoo Japan, A Gaming Network, and COGconnected, with additional coverage in Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.


Full Japanese and English localization has been integrated into the game’s pipeline. The demo will ship with completed sound design, Japanese voice over for the main narrator, and both Japanese and English subtitles.

A free demo is planned for March 2026. Episode 1 is planned for April 2026. The game will be released episodically through Early Access on PC (Steam).
