Former Minister of State Seán Sherlock has joined Solar Ireland, the solar energy industry representative group, as its new director of policy and regulation.
Mr Sherlock said: “Ireland’s solar sector has reached an important stage of development. The next phase is about implementation and outcomes. Grid capacity, planning certainty, market design and affordability will determine how effectively solar can support Ireland’s climate and energy objectives.”
