A study has shown that drinking coffee at a certain time of day is linked to significant health benefits

Coffee in the morning

The Journal stated: “We must accept the now substantial evidence that coffee drinking, particularly in the morning hours, is likely to be healthy. Thus, drink your coffee, but do so in the morning!”.

Supporting this recommendation, the European Heart Journal clarified: “Wang et al. analysed the time of the day when coffee is consumed in 40,725 adults from the NHANES and of 1,463 adults from the Women’s and Men’s Lifestyle Validation Study.

“They noticed two distinct patterns of coffee drinking”, suggesting around 33% of people are “morning drinkers,” whilst 14% drink coffee throughout the entire day. Individuals who savour a morning brew had a 16% reduced risk of dying from any cause and a 31% decreased risk of dying from heart disease when compared to non-coffee drinkers.

These advantages were particularly linked to morning consumption; the “all-day” pattern didn’t provide the same substantial protection. The report additionally indicates that enjoying coffee in the morning corresponds with your body’s natural energy boost, reports the Mirror.
