Take That have announced a tour date in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on July 4th next year as the final performance of a 2026 UK and Ireland tour.

Tickets will go on presale on Thursday, September 25th, for fans who have pre-ordered the group’s new album; while general sale tickets will be released at 9.30am on Friday, September 26th, on the band’s Ticketmaster page.

Take That have said they will use the same theme from their 2009 tour, The Circus Live, which featured grand theatrics, circus performers and a dramatic entrance at each concert venue in a life-size 30-foot-high mechanical elephant. At the time it was the fastest-selling UK tour in history, selling more than 600,000 tickets in less than five hours.

Take That social media accounts had been posting a series of teaser videos this week telling fans to wait for a “big announcement” at 10am on Friday.

The band will begin their tour in Southampton on May 29th, 2026, and finish in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday, July 4th, 2026.

The support acts for the Dublin date have yet to be confirmed but pop-rock band The Script and American singer-songwriter Belinda Carlisle have been announced as the band’s UK support acts.

Take That originally formed in 1989 with band members Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald. They released three chart-topping albums before breaking up in 1996 after Williams decided to go solo.

The remaining four members reunited in 2005 and the group continued touring and released three number one albums in four years. Williams briefly rejoined in 2011 and Take That released the album Progress, after which Williams and Orange decided to leave the group.

Take That isa three-piece act comprising Barlow, Owen and Donald. Williams and Orange have not indicated they will be involved in the latest tour, though they have made surprise appearances on previous Take That tours.

This latest tour will likely coincide with the release of a new three-part Take That documentary on Netflix. The band have always enjoyed a dedicated Irish fan base, with some fans queuing for seven hours outside the 3Arena before a concert there in 2019 to secure a spot at the front of the standing areas.
