Gardaí have launched an investigation, after a stolen car was involved in a collision in Letterkenny.
They say that the collision occurred at Loughagannon, Letterkenny at 3am this morning, and the driver failed to remain at the scene.
No further details were provided to Donegal Daily regarding any other vehicles or people being involved in the incident.
However, Gardaí say that no injuries have been reported at this time.
The stolen vehicle was involved in the crash after being reported stolen early on Friday morning.
Gardaí say that they received a report of an unauthorised taking of a car in the area of Drumacloghan, Ramelton, at some time between 12:05am and 7am on Friday the 20th of February.
Their enquiries into the matter are ongoing.
