An Irish EuroMillions player came agonisingly close to scooping Friday night’s eye-watering €130 million jackpot – but they still managed to pocket a life-changing six-figure prize.
EuroMillions players across Ireland are being urged to check their tickets after more than 67,000 people here won prizes in last night’s draws.
Friday’s EuroMillions Mega draw saw the jackpot soar to a guaranteed-to-be-won €130 million.
And an Irish ticketholder came agonisingly close to scooping the huge sum, missing out on the jaw dropping top prize by just one correct number.
However, the punter still has plenty of reason to celebrate as they scooped the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth an incredible €161,198.
The National Lottery has revealed that the winner of the life-changing six-figure prize hails from Co Cork as they urged players to check their tickets to see if they have bagged the huge sum.
The numbers called in Friday’s (February 21) main EuroMillions draw were: 13, 24, 28, 33, 35 and the Lucky Stars were 05 and 09.
The Match 5 + Bonus prize winner wasn’t the only Irish player celebrating after last night’s draw, as another lucky punter scooped the €500,000 jackpot in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The winning numbers to look out for are: 02, 12, 26, 28 and 41.
Lotto bosses have confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Co Dublin.
There were also 10 winners of the Ireland Only Raffle, with each player bagging €5,000. The winning raffle numbers were:

Players across Ireland are now being urged to check their tickets to see if they are among the 67,000 people here who won prizes in tonight’s EuroMillions and Plus games.
If you hold a winning ticket that you bought in a shop, you must claim your prize within 90 days of the applicable draw date.
