Trina McKillen, the artist and sister of property developer Paddy McKillen, is in mourning following the death of her husband, the songwriter Billy Steinberg.
Steinberg (75) wrote a string of chart-topping hits including Madonna’s Like a Virgin, Cyndi Lauper’s True Colours, The Bangles’ Eternal Flame, The Pretenders’ I’ll Stand By You and Roy Orbison’s I Drove All Night. He won a Grammy Award in 1997 for his work on Celine Dion’s Falling into You. He died last Monday after a battle with cancer.
