I grew up in one of those rare no-cable-TV households—and this was before streaming was a thing so we simply did not watch TV on weekdays. But on Fridays after school, my mom would take us to Blockbuster and let us pick a couple of things to rent. My sisters and I would pick anything starring the Olsen twins, Amanda Bynes, or Hilary Duff. We were especially fans of the Lizzie McGuire star—imagine being 15 years old and releasing “Come Clean.” I am enthralled by her return to the stage and all of the sartorial and beauty info it brings with it. I recently learned that her enviably smooth and radiant skin on the cover of her new album Luck…or Something, was enhanced with Stila’s Stay All Day Foundation and Concealer.

The foundation is light coverage but buildable, while the concealer is full coverage—it’s a genius combination. You get lightweight coverage all over, but can spot treat any areas that could benefit from a more opaque formula. Though there are moisturizing ingredients (glycerin and stearic acid) in Stila’s Stay All Day Foundation and Concealer, it’s not a skin care-as-makeup product, which I find refreshing—you won’t have to worry about how this interacts with the serums you prep your skin with.
One shopper said wrinkles are “covered well” when using Stila’s Stay All Day Foundation. Another shopper said it “stayed on throughout an entire wedding ceremony and reception,” despite 90-degree heat. Lastly, a shopper said this “beats all [foundations]” when it comes to creating a “smooth” canvas.
