To all the writers out there, when you look at the blank page think of who you love, think of someone you see in pain and help them feel better.I will be forever grateful to this. The BAFTAs have kicked off and promise another year of glitz, glamour as household names gathered at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday evening for a night filled with celebration and joy.

And while some stars such as Aimee Lou Wood and Emma Stone brought their A-game to the event, others attempts at red carpet glamour fell somewhat flat.

Among some of the more baffling looks was Best Supporting Actress nominee Teyana Taylor, who took to the red carpet in a vampire-inspired cloak witn a huge collar hiding her gorgeous face.

One Battle After Another star, 35, appeared to have thought she was at a Tim Burton premiere rather than an awards ceremony.

While it’s no secret that Teyana is a stunning star, her look for this red carpet just simply didn’t tick any of the right boxes.

Meanwhile Kirsten Dunst, 43, appeared to have taken her inspiration from a 1980s Mother Of The Bride with jacket that boasted huge pink puffy sleeves.
