Eberechi Eze seems to love playing for Arsenal against Tottenham as he bagged another two goals to seal a dominant North London derby win.
Eze and Viktor Gyokeres were both at the double for the Gunners in what ended up being the most routine of derby day wins.
Arsenal re-established their five point lead at the top of the Premier League table and to do it in such style was also impressive.
Of course, Eze was yet again the star attraction as he followed up his hat-trick in the home tie earlier in the season.
In fact, when we take a look at Eze’s now five goals against Tottenham in the Premier League for Arsenal, it actually puts him high up among the top ever goal scorers, after just two games!
Ebere Eze is on course to be Arsenal’s record Premier League goal scorer against Tottenham
In what has been an inconsistent for Ebere Eze in an Arsenal shirt, it’s safe to say his legacy in the NLD is already cemented.
With five goals in just two fixtures, Eze seems to be at his most comfortable when facing Spurs and he was once again the best player on the pitch.

It is, though, the goals that stand out and quite remarkably, with five in two appearances, Eze finds himself joint with Thierry Henry for Premier League goals against Spurs and just two shy of the all-time record.
That record stands at seven, held by Robert Pires, while Emanuel Adebayor also scored six times.
The key metric here though is that Pires needed 11 appearances to manage those seven, while Adebayor did it in eight games. With Eze already on five in two, he could genuinely be Arsenal’s leading marksman against Spurs come next season.
Arsenal’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorers against Tottenham
For Eze to be on this list and so high up it after just two appearances is quite remarkable really.
The names on the list are also Arsenal royalty and he has a genuine chance to put himself in the record books forever if he sticks around for a few years.
As we can see in the table below, Arsenal’s top scorers in the NLD are by no means unknown players.

This is pretty impressive stuff from Eze and if he can somehow maintain this record or just score once a season over his current contract, then he’ll be top of the pile in no time.
