Hamnet author Maggie O’Farrell made a striking entrance at the 79th British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, February 22, wearing a sculptural quill headpiece and cape by Irish designer Margaret O’Connor – a dramatic look that showcased the Clare milliner’s work on a global stage.
O’Connor, who has trained under some of the most respected names in millinery, including Noel Stewart and Ireland’s own Philip Treacy, has long carved out a distinctive space within the fashion world.
