Kicking off production in Ireland, Netflix has announced a slew of names joining season 2’s Wednesday including Winona Ryder and Chris Sarandon.
Netflix has announced that production for Wednesday season 3 has begun near Dublin.
It was also announced that a number of names would be joining the cast for season 3, including Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, Kennedy Moyer and more.
They join previously announced Eva Green, who will portray Morticia Addams’ sister, Ophelia, as well as previous cast members Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and more.
Wednesday’s previous season had also been filmed in Ireland, at Ashford Studios in Wicklow, with Ortega telling Hot Press in a 2025 interview that “everything about Ireland was so beautiful.”
Commenting on the new instalment of the series, creators Al Gough and Miles Millar said: “It’s our dark delight to fling open Nevermore Academy’s gates once more as we begin production on season three. We thank our invincible cast and crew for their continued commitment to doom and gloom.
“To the fans,” they continued, “we appreciate your patience and ravenous online commentary – your twisted theories have inspired nightmares. This season we welcome new students, new teachers, and excavate some long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”
