Known by many names depending on what part of the country you are in, the graipe (sometimes spelled ‘grape’), sprong or fork has been a staple piece of equipment in every yard for generations. Its uses are diverse and it regularly appears as a prop in photos taken of farmers as a symbol of hard work.
