A long-promised primary care centre for a rural Waterford town looks set for further delay, after the HSE confirmed that the selected provider has withdrawn and that the entire project is now under review.
Figures released to Waterford TD Conor McGuinness show that difficulties around the economic viability of the contract have derailed progress, with the HSE now reassessing the scope and reviewing existing accommodation before any new proposal can proceed.
