People are getting “more fed up” with slow progress on infrastructure and services in Ireland, according to John Collison, the billionaire co-founder of Stripe.
Speaking at the release of the payment company’s annual company letter – which showed a 34pc increase in payments volume to $1.9tn (€1.6tn) and claimed that the privately-held firm is now “robustly profitable” with an updated value of $159bn (€135bn) – Collison said that, while structural deficits in Ireland will take time to fix, patience is running out.
