An inspection of a community hospital in Waterford has found failings in terms of fire safety, the premises and governance, according to a report issued by the Health and Information Quality Authority (HIQA).
The unannounced HIQA inspection was carried out on July 10, 2025, and the report was published on Monday, February 23. HIQA carries out regular visits on all such facilities across the State to ensure compliance with standards of care.
