Samsung’s Android 16-based One UI 8 is in full swing. After what can only be described as a major rollout delay with One UI 7, Samsung seems to be back on schedule, with a host of its new devices, including the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and even the new Galaxy S25 FE shipping with the skin preinstalled.

Several of the South Korean tech giant’s older flagships have already gained access to One UI 8’s initial betas, and we now have a better idea about when said devices will be able to transition to the full stable build.

For what it’s worth, prior to the new leak, we knew which Samsung devices would (eventually) gain the One UI 8 update. It was mostly a question of when, not if.

Now, thanks to a leaked roadmap highlighted by Samsung tipster @Alfaturk16 on X (Twitter), via SammyGuru, we know when some of our older Galaxy devices will be privy to the stable One UI 8 update.

According to the leaked schedule, the last eligible device to gain the stable One UI 8 update will be the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, which is expected to get the update around November 10. On the other hand, the majority of Samsung’s recent flagships will get the update in September, with older flagships, foldables, and A-series devices slated to receive the update in October.

Elsewhere, as expected, Samsung’s S21 series (barring the FE) will not receive the update, and the same goes for the S20 series. One UI 8 will also be the last major OS update for Samsung’s 2022-released Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
