Samara Weaving’s favorite horror movies?

Kathryn Newton’s favorite horror movies?

Newton responds, “I really love Jennifer’s Body. It was one of the first horrors I saw in theaters and I was terrified, mortified, scared, and excited all at the same time.”

Jennifer’s Body was written by Diablo Cody, it’s interesting to note, who more recently wrote the horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein. The star of that movie? Kathryn Newton!

Newton’s horror idols? “Samara Weaving of course,” she lovingly answers on Reddit. “Drew Barrymore too. Nicolas Cage. He’s so good in horror. His unhinged and weird characters are the best. Insane performance in Longlegs. Some of it is too scary for me though.”

Elijah Wood’s favorite horror movies?

“John Carpenter’s The Thing,” Wood answers. “For a newer one, Weapons is incredible.”

And Elijah Wood’s horror idols? He responds, “I’m thinking of filmmakers like [Dario] Argento, John Carpenter, Wes Craven, David Cronenberg, [Alfred] Hitchcock, Mario Bava. So many new folks too. Zach Cregger, crushing it.”
