It has been confirmed that the All-Ireland ‘C’ Schools semi-final between Mayo‘s Balla Secondary School and Carrigaline Community School of Cork has seen a change of throw-in time.

Both sides will make their way to Clarecastle with eyes on making the decider of the race for the Eamonn O’Sullivan Cup.

Balla punched their ticket to the last-four when they triumphed over Gortnor Abbey, Crossmolina in the Connacht final, while the Munster champions secured provincial honours when they edged Scoil na Trinoide by the bare minimum in a thriller in Banteer.

Now, on Saturday, the team buses of each band of brothers will be bouncing along the roads to Clarecastle, a stone’s throw from Ennis, with eyes on the prize.

However, they will have to leave a touch earlier than previously thought.

The semi-final has been brought forward by an hour from the original throw-in time of 4 pm. It is now pencilled in for 3 pm.
