Regis Le Bris also gave some Sunderland team news.
On Granit Xhaka being available to face Bournemouth: “He
might be because he is in a good place now. He reacted really well after this game
[against Fulham]. At the minute, he is in a good a place.”
On Romaine Mundle’s injury: “I must say it might be a difficult injury, and he might be sidelined for a few weeks or months. We still have further assessments to make.”
On the rest of Sunderland’s injuries: “Jocelin [Ta Bi] might be in the same position as Romaine, but a different injury. He might need surgery. Couple of weeks or months [possibly ruled out].
“It would be shorter for Nordi [Mukiele] and Brian [Brobbey] between two or four weeks, depending on the way they respond to the treatment and the rehab.”
Le Bris also said that Dennis Cirkin was “getting better” and should be back in “around 10 days”, while Bertrand Traore will return to full training this week.
