Pink has addressed reports that she separated from her husband, Carey Hart.

On Thursday, People reported that the couple had separated again after 20 years of marriage, citing an anonymous source. Pink met the former professional freestyle motocross driver in 2001 at the Summer X Games, got engaged in 2005, and married him the following year. They share two children, Willow Sage, 14, and Jameson Moon, 9. TMZ and Us Weekly also reported the news.

In an Instagram post, Pink addressed the rumors directly. “I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband — I didn’t know,” she said, thanking People magazine and Us Weekly for reporting so.

“Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering would you also like to tell my children. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware, or do you want to talk about some real news?” Pink said, naming issues like the Epstein files, systemic racism, and the impressive achievements by American women during the Winter Olympics.

Also mentioning her recent nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Pink continued, “Do you want to talk about my accomplishments, or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise?”

“So fake news, not true,” she continued. “I love you all, go with God, and trash news, you can do better.”
