It’s been years since I’ve ventured north of Galway, and as I make the long drive from Cork, I’m reminded of two things: it takes ages to get here, and it’s worth every minute. Once the road narrows and the landscape opens up, Connemara’s wild beauty does its magic. I can see why it’s Ryan Tubridy and his wife Clare Kambamettu’s “favourite place”.
