Fáilte Ireland has named Sligo Park Hotel among the country’s leading tourism employers for the fourth consecutive year, awarding the business its Outstanding Employer Gold Award for 2026.
The accolade is the highest honour available under Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence Programme, an initiative designed to strengthen workplace culture across the tourism sector through a focus on employee engagement and leadership development.
The programme requires participating businesses to undertake structured management training and conduct detailed employee engagement surveys.
According to the hotel, feedback gathered from staff played a central role in securing this year’s award, with survey results highlighting positive workplace experiences and strong levels of engagement across the organisation.
The Employer Excellence Programme forms part of Fáilte Ireland’s wider strategy to build resilience and capability within the Irish tourism industry by supporting employers to develop leadership skills and foster high-performing teams.
Gerard Moore, Director and General Manager of Sligo Park Hotel, said the recognition reflects the organisation’s sustained focus on its people.
“We are delighted to receive the Outstanding Employer Gold Award for 2026 from Fáilte Ireland.
“Achieving this prestigious recognition for the fourth consecutive year is a great tribute to our culture of employee engagement and continuous dialogue to ensure that staff have everything they need to feel fulfilled in their roles and to provide first-class, award-winning service for visitors and guests,” he said.
