Wexford FC were undone by two corner-kicks as hosts Athlone Town fought back twice to earn a share of the spoils in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland First Division on Friday night.
Adam Verdon gave the south-east side an early lead, but Kyle O’Connor drew the home team level in the 24rd minute.
