Actor Prakash Raj is reportedly no longer part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ starring Prabhas and Tripti Dimri. Despite his earlier denial, his name was notably absent from the film’s recent poster, which unveiled Vivek Oberoi’s character. This follows earlier rumors of a creative fallout on set. After actor Prakash Raj dismissed rumours about his exit from Prabhas and Tripti Dimri starrer ‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it now appears that he is indeed no longer part of the project. Recently, the makers released the poster of Vivek Oberoi’s character from the film. While the names of the known cast members were listed, the credits of Prakash Raj were missing.
Earlier rumours and Prakash Raj’s response
Earlier this month, on February 9, OTTPlay reported that Prakash Raj, who is playing a key role in the film, will no longer be part of the project. However, the ‘Singham’ actor dismissed the report with a strong message via his social media handle. In his X (formerly Twitter) post, he mentioned that they have yet to start shooting for his scenes. Explaing he wrote, “To all the toxic #Fakenews peddlers…. On #Spirit the movie. We have not even started shooting for my scenes..and you whatsup factories speculate stories . Grow up and have a life (laughing emoji).” 
For the unversed, the report mentioned that the actor and the director had a bitter issue on the sets over the script and how the scene was shot. This seems to have resulted in a creative fallout between the two. It was also said that the actor’s behaviour with the team became difficult and they parted ways.

Confirmation after poster release
Now, recently, after the poster was released, Hindustan Times reported that he won’t be a part of the film. Currently, there are no reports about who will fill in his character.
Vivek Oberoi’s first look
Recently, Viver Oberoi’s first look from ‘Spirit’ was released. In the poster, he is seen in a cold backdrop, smoking a cigar in a purple velvet robe and donning glasses with a moustache. He is carrying a sword as he keeps a foot on a couch behind. A makers have also subtly introduced another member from the film, Aishwarya Desai, who is seen in front.
Poster credits suggest Prakash Raj’s exit
In the caption, the makers have mentioned the names of the key members from the cast to technicians. However, they haven’t put Prakash Raj’s name, which seems to give the idea that he indeed has parted ways.‘Spirit’ star Prabhas opposite Tripti Dimri as the female lead after Deepika Padukone stepped away from the film.The movie is set to release on March 5, 2027.
