St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghaderreen are sixty minutes from All-Ireland Post-Primary School’s ‘B’ Championship glory following a terrific semi-final victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Ballaghaderreen students reached the last four with a five-point triumph over The Bish of Galway a fortnight ago.
Two first half goals gave Colm Maye’s side the advantage over their Rosscarbery-based opponents, Mount Saint Michael leading by two goals and seven points to ten points at the University of Limerick venue.
This lead grew further in the second half, restricting their opponents to a solitary point while adding to their own tally.
Nathy’s finished comfortable winners by three goals and 18 points to Mount Saint Michael’s 11.
It is the first time the school has reached an All-Ireland final at this level since 2018.
Roscommon CBS are the current holders of the championship.
