Former Dublin GAA star Philly McMahon is bursting with pride and joy this week as he thanked his wife for giving birth to their second child.
Philly and Sarah welcomed their first child, Baby Leannain, in 2022 and kept this pregnancy very quiet, with no mention of their exciting news on social media.
Completely in love, it was Philly’s heart-warming message on his online platform that tugged on the heartstrings of those reading.

Revealing the news online, Philly posted a few pictures of their new arrival and their son Leannain meeting his new baby sister.
Writing in the caption, Philly sweetly wrote, ‘Welcome to the world, my beautiful daughter Isabelle. We are so lucky and grateful for this little gift.’
‘Thanks so much to everyone who has reached out to congradulate us,’ he said.

Finishing, he thanked those who helped bring their daughter into the world ‘Big thanks to all the amazing staff in the Rotunda Hospital for looking after Sarah and Isabelle so well.’

Taking the obligatory ‘dad photo,’ Philly held tightly onto the baby carrier, making sure Isabelle was safe and sound, excited to bring her home for the first time to meet everyone.
Congratulations, Philly and Sarah!
