A whole host of celebrities have been arriving on the red carpet for the 2026 Brit Awards, and amongst them is Davina McCall. The presenter arrived with her husband, celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas, and opted for one of this year’s stand out red carpet trends – the naked dress.
Her dress may not have been as daring as some previous red carpet attendees’, but it gave a cheeky nod to the trend all the same with plenty of strategically placed sheer panels. Her exact dress is the Norma Kamali Spliced Insert Pickleball Dress , and although it usually retails for £223 on the FWRD website, it’s currently on sale for just £149.

Whilst this might be a splurge for some, it’s an undeniable bargain for those hoping to snap up a designer piece on a budget. In fact, the FWRD website has marked it as the number eight best-selling piece in the sheer section of the website, proving it’s a style that’s in demand.
Currently the Norma Kamali Spliced Insert Pickleball Dress is only in stock in sizes extra small and lathe on the FWRD site, no doubt thanks to its £74 discount. However if you want other sizes, you can also pick it at Revolve for £275, where it’s the number 24 best seller sitewide, with all sizes from XXS to XL still in stock.

Davina is no stranger to the naked dress trend, and wore a similar sheer number to last year’s Brit Awards too. Whilst last year she opted for a completely sheer black lace maxi dress with nothing but black underwear beneath, this time she opted for slightly more coverage, despite the mini length of the Norma Kamali Spliced Insert Pickleball Dress.
The dress has carefully placed panels which provide a surprising amount of coverage for a sheer mini dress, and the contrast between the black and skin colour makes the dress sculptural and edgy. In true Davina fashion, she ditched a classic pair of heels and paired it with some stiletto ankle boots instead, giving the Spliced Insert Pickleball Dress a more grunge aesthetic.
