Kate Moss is back on the runway—and she’s certainly making a big statement. In a surprise Milan Fashion Week appearance, the 52-year-old model closed out Demna’s Gucci runway debut at the FW26 show on February 27. She wore a dramatic look for the occasion.
She rocked a slinky, floor-length sparkly black dress with a turtleneck, long sleeves, and a swooping backless design that revealed a glimpse of her ’90s-coded black thong underneath. Her blonde hair was styled in slightly messy waves and a center part, revealing a pair of dangly silver earrings. She completed the vampy look with a dark smoky eye.

Moss made her last runway appearance in 2024, walking the runway during Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in a sheer black lace dress with a hip-high slit.
She also wore dangly silver earrings.

Although Moss’s latest appearance may have been her first time on the runway in over a year, she has graced a few front rows. Just a few days ago, she and her 23-year-old daughter Lila sat front row during the Burberry Winter 2026 Show at London Fashion Week. In January, she also appeared at Saint Laurent’s latest fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, wearing a silk cami and a black leather skirt.
Moss has certainly had a busy few years, opening her own talent agency Kate Moss Agency (KMA) in 2016. However, she has, for the most part, left the hectic days of her modeling heyday behind and is now living a quiet life in the Cotswolds where she has become “obsessed with gardening.”
“I’m not into being out of control anymore,” she said during a 2022 interview with the BBC. “I like to get to bed and do my meditation before anyone gets up. I like to feel in control.”
