A beloved Galway café will open an eagerly awaited second branch in the coming days.
Little Lane Coffee Shop has been a beloved fixture of the Galway café scene for six years now from their Abbeygate Street digs.
However, they announced plans to open a second location in the city several months ago as coffee fans across the city rejoiced.
That second location, at Bonham Quay, will open in Monday 2 March, it has now been confirmed.

Little Lane Coffee confirmed: “It’s time……finally!”
“We will be officially opening our new and eagerly awaited store at Bonham Quay Galway on Monday 2nd March at 10am.
“This will be a soft opening, so please bear with us as we settle in to our new space.”
In other Galway business news, Heneghan’s SuperValu in Glenamaddy, Co Galway has scooped the coveted Best Small SuperValu Store Award for 2026 at this year’s SuperValu National Conference, which took place at The Great Southern Hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry.
The shop was shortlisted alongside other finalist stores from across the country.
In what proved a fiercely contested category, Heneghan’s SuperValu Glenamaddy was hailed for its “unwavering high standards, robust food leadership and firmly established ties to the local community”.
