Two men have been arrested after a major drugs bust in Dublin.
Over €700,000 worth of drugs and sizable quantities of cash were seized in the bust, which was made after Gardaí from the Coolock Drugs Unit intercepted a car in the Dublin 1 area yesterday afternoon.
€100,000 worth of cannabis was seized, and a man aged in his 20s was arrested at the scene.
After two follow-up searches in Dublin 1, cannabis valued at €551,000 and cocaine worth €70,000 were seized, as well as £33,000 sterling and over €4,000 in cash.
A second man aged in his 30s was also arrested following those discoveries.
Both men have been detained at a Garda station in Dublin, and the drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
Garda investigations into the matter are ongoing.
