Two teenagers who died in a crash near Ballina yesterday have been named locally.
19-year-old Padraic Tuffy and 18-year-old Cian Farrell were killed – and three other teenagers were injured – when their car hit a ditch shortly after 4.15am.
The two young men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two teenage boys and a young woman in her late teens, who were also in the car, were taken to Mayo University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
