A screening of the documentary ‘Sale of the Sea’ will take place at Garter Lane Theatre on 11th March at 7:30 pm, presented by Bluehorizon.

Produced and directed by Irish filmmaker Mary Sue Connolly, Sale of the Sea examines Ireland’s rapid expansion of offshore wind energy and asks important questions about how large-scale renewable projects are planned and sited along our coasts. Through interviews, on-the-ground footage, and investigative storytelling, the film explores how ambitious climate and energy targets can be achieved while also considering the needs of local communities, coastal environments and marine ecosystems.

After the screening, a panel discussion and audience Q&A will encourage open, respectful community conversation around offshore energy, environmental stewardship, and future coastal development.
