Leeds United has launched a unique gold jersey to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Ahead of March 17, the club has dropped a new lifestyle range of t-shirts, jackets and more as part of the Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day Collection.

Each limited edition item is inspired by Irish symbolism and includes the Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day Fan Top (£55), a gold jersey featuring a subtle Celtic knotwork pattern and green trims, alongside a green, embroidered, Leeds crest. This is also found on the rich green Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day Windrunner (£65), a full-zip jacket with the green club crest on the left chest, a shamrock on the right, and white chevron-style stripe across the body.

The Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day Tricot Track Jacket (£65) comes in off-white with green stripes featuring Celtic knotwork down each arm and ‘LUFC’ in gold text on the back. Also in the collection is the more minimal Leeds United St. Patricks Day T-Shirt (£35) that features gold ‘LUFC’ text on the left chest above the phrase ‘Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Duit’, which translates to ‘Happy St. Patrick’s Day’ in the Irish language.

This is also found in gold text on the Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day 1/4 Zip (£60), a black jacket featuring a shamrock towards the end of the left sleeve. Rounding out the collection is the Leeds United St. Patrick’s Structured Adjustable Cap (£22), which proudly displays the green Leeds crest front and centre.

Each item in the Leeds United St. Patrick’s Day Collection is on sale at Fanatics and the Leeds United Official Store. Unveiling the collection, the club said: “Leeds United are proud to unveil our exclusive St. Patrick’s Day collection, a limited-edition range celebrating the club’s enduring connection with Ireland and the generations of Irish supporters who have stood with us through it all.

“Few English clubs share a bond with Ireland quite like Leeds United. From the leadership and vision of Johnny Giles to the left-footed quality of Ian Harte, Irish influence has been woven into the fabric of this football club.

“Their commitment, resilience and pride mirror the very values that define Leeds United – determined, honest and fiercely loyal. The LUFC St. Patrick’s Day Collection honours that special relationship, not simply as part of our history, but as a living connection that continues to unite Yorkshire and Ireland.

“It’s a celebration of those who have always backed the Whites, whether from the stands at Elland Road or from across the Irish Sea.”

It comes as Leeds suffered a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday. Daniel Farke’s side are left 15th in the Premier League table – one place above struggling Spurs – ahead of their Tuesday night game against Sunderland.

The Whites will host The Black Cats with both teams on a run of four league games without a win, and fans can tune in on TNT Sports 2 for a 7.30pm kick-off. Leeds fans have been sharing their first impressions of the St. Patrick’s Day Collection on X, with one saying: “That kit is actually cold.”

Others were less-impressed, as this fan wrote: “That track top is beautiful and then you ruined it by writing on the back.” Another simply said ‘that Green Windbreaker’ followed by a green heart emoji.
