Food and fuel retailer, Corrib Oil has today announced that it is to open a new convenience store and service station on Killala Road, Ballina, creating 50 new full and part-time jobs in the locality.

The new Ballina site, which will open in early Summer, will be Corrib Oil’s 42nd convenience store nationally.

A dedicated recruitment campaign has now been launched to fill a range of roles and interested applicants can learn more and apply online.

The modern new development will feature a full Corrib Deli offering fresh food options for customers, alongside a spacious convenience retail store. The site will also include a large solar panel system installed on the roof of the building and canopy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable operations.

The forecourt will offer a comprehensive fuel solution, including HVO and AdBlue, which will be available both on the main forecourt and at a dedicated truck stop pump. A truck fill pump will also be installed on site. In addition, the location will provide one double EV charger in partnership with ePower, supporting the continued growth of electric vehicle use in the region.
