Champions Kilkerrin-Clonberne lead the way with ten representatives on the 2025 AIB Ladies Gaelic Football Club Championship Team of the Year.
The Galway outfit stormed to a fifth successive AIB All-Ireland club title championship title last December – with victory against Antrim opponents St Ergnats, Moneyglass, at Croke Park.
St Ergnats made history last year by claiming a first Ulster crown, before advancing to a maiden national decider.
Their exploits have been acknowledged with the other five places on the team of the year – as Kilkerrin-Clonberne better last year’s haul by two.
The Connacht side also have two nominees for the Player of the Year award – Nicola Ward and Siobhán Divilly, who was player of the match in the All-Ireland final.
The third nominee is Cathy Carey from St Ergnats.
There are three sets of sisters on the XV for 2025 with the Wards and Divillys from Kilkerrin-Clonberne joined by the O’Neills (Sarah and Maria) from St Ergnats on the annual selection.
The players will be honoured at the AIB Club Player Awards at Croke Park on Friday 13 March, marking the second time that the four codes of ladies football, camogie, hurling, and football are celebrated together. The LGFA club player of the year award winner will also be revealed at the ceremony.
