The song Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’ is from the 1943 musical Oklahoma. It captures the beauty of a rural sunrise with a “bright, golden haze on the meadow” and corn “as high as an elephant’s eye”.

The imagery is apt, as corn crops can grow to about three metres, roughly the height of an elephant’s eye from the ground.
