When Dubliner Caroline Kay got her diagnosis, her parents said they’d move in with her in London and take care of her during chemo. Her thanks, via an Instagram post, went viral…

Caroline Kay’s parents moved into her apartment with her for four months to help her as she was treated for breast cancer
When writer, composer and performer Caroline Kay posted a video earlier this month on her Instagram (@carolinekay117) of her parent’s four-month stay with her in London late last year during her cancer treatment, she hadn’t expected it to go viral.
The Dubliner’s intention was to thank her parents, who had stayed with her in her one-bedroom apartment, for coming to her chemo appointments, organising her medication, cooking and cleaning for her, making her laugh, even creating a bespoke real-hair wig to suit her needs exactly, all of which she captured in her Instagram reel, which has been watched 2.6 million times so far, and commented on by thousands.
