Conditional planning permission has been granted for a new Aldi store in Waterford City.
Aldi Stores (Ireland) Limited had sought permission from Waterford City and County Council for a new store in Gracedieu.
The development will consist of the construction of a single storey discount retail store with off-licence, car parking  for 85 vehicles and loading bay, with vehicular and pedestrian access from Carrickphierish Road.
Waterford City and County Council granted permission on February 26th subject to sixteen conditions.
The development will be Aldi’s sixth Waterford store.
