Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’s wedding last summer was a lavish, $50 million affair, with an A-list guest list full of celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Leonardo DiCaprio, a dreamy Venice destination, and not one, but three different wedding dresses. The star-studded attendees notwithstanding, Sánchez Bezos revealed that a special moment with her three kids stood out as the highlight of the three-day celebration.

Sánchez Bezos recalled both her and Bezos’s kids getting up to do surprise speeches for their parents, sharing, “One of my kids, who is dyslexic—and he lets me talk about it—went up there and talked about a moment that was extremely important to him.” While she “had no idea what he was going to say” at the time, her son opened up about a meaningful childhood memory that he shared with his mom during the ceremony.

“He was in the fourth grade and not writing well and he wrote this sentence that says, ‘I can do this.” And it was his first sentence. And that’s really late to be writing your first sentence as any parent with a kid with dyslexia knows,” Sánchez Bezos explained. “I blew it up and I put it in our kitchen, and it says, ‘I can do this.’ Anyway, he talked about how special that moment was for him.”
