A judge has labelled a man who repeatedly inflicted life-threatening violence on his wife for 19 years as “a coward and a bully”.
John McDonagh (47) of An Sruthán, Castlebar, County Mayo, physically abused, threatened to kill and stopped his wife from receiving medical care on several occasions after they married at a young age.
