UK actor Timothy Spall capped off a trip to Donegal with a visit to Hanna Hats last week.
Spall, known to many as Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter film series and for roles in The King’s Speech, Mr. Turner and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, called into the Hanna Hats home in Donegal Town last Friday.
The team at Hanna Hats said it was a pleasure to welcome Spall and his wife Shane to the workshop.
“We were delighted to give them a tour- they were so interested to see how our hats and caps were made,” the team said.
“They really made our Friday!”
Hanna Hats is one of fourteen of Ireland’s biggest consumer brands which be showcased at the ‘Made in Ireland’ Pop Up event at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, the busiest shopping destination in North America, attracting 48 million visitors a year.
The Ireland pop up shop launched this week in Toronto and will run for 2 weeks, as part of Irish heritage month in Canada.
