Gardai have stood down an appeal for a missing Finglas woman following the discovery of a body.
53-year-old Frederique Dunne had been reported missing from the Dublin 11 suburb on Tuesday.
But gardai have now stood down their appeal for help after a woman’s body was found.
Officers also thanked the public for their help in their appeals.
A garda spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of a woman’s body, the missing person appeal in respect of Frederique Dunne (53), who was reported missing from Finglas, Dublin 11 since Tuesday 3rd March 2026, has been stood down.
“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.”
