Protestors gathered in the city centre on Wednesday
Opposing protests over the war in Iran have clashed in Galway city this week after a demonstration sparked a counter-protest and saw crowds gather in the city’s streets.
An emergency protest was organised by Galway Alliance Against War on Wednesday, March 4 at 5:45pm on Shop Street to demonstrate against the conflict in Iran.
